General description

The monitoring type “midi” is suitable for medium systems. Up to five particle counters and other sensors can be connected to the system.

The monitoring system can be used for various locations. Whether in cleanrooms, storage halls or technical rooms, the system registers all data from particle counters, environmental sensors and other devices and machines. This data is registered on the customized software application, compared with limits and archived. If the limits are exceeded, corresponding messages are sent and alarms activated.

The system contains the following components:

1        Hardware monitoring system

1.1       MOD box systems

Registers, converts and transmits measured values of the external 4…20 mA signals and the relevant circuits to the DLS PC. The MOD box system is completely assembled and wired on the inside. The MOD box system is built as wall switch cabinet with the following measurements: 800 x 600 x 300 mm.

5        Commissioning and training

5.1       Commissioning

Entire commissioning of the mentioned components after they had been laid and attached by the customer according to our cable list and cable laying charts as well as connected on both sides by vali.sys (final assembly/connection). 

5.2       Training

User training with the future system user team. Training by our specialist for clean room monitoring systems.

6        Prospective qualification of the computerized system

This prospective qualification of the computerized system is carried out for the entire delivered system.

6.1       Functional design specification (FDS)

Definite description of the monitoring system functions based on the customer’s user requirement specification (URS).

The FDS contains the released specifications, plans and descriptions. The FDS includes the following:

  • HDS – hardware design
  • SDS – software design
  • FDS – function design

 

6.2       IQ protocol

Preparing all relevant documents for the installation qualification for the monitoring system and the installed software according to the GAMP requirements. The installation qualification is documented proof that the system was installed according to its specifications and requirements. Usually, the IQ starts after termination of the entire assembly. The installation needs to be verified including the GMP criteria and the conformity of the required specifications. All IQ tests are carried out based on approved test protocols. The testing person directly documents the results in the IQ test protocols.

The IQ includes the following:

The OQ is carried out under supervision of an employee of the customer. All OQ tests are carried out based on approved test protocols. The testing person directly documents the results in the IQ test protocols.

Carrying out all relevant examinations for the operation qualification of the monitoring system by using the protocol and the required additional documents according to GAMP, incl. qualification of the installed software. 

6.6          Writing the QMP (qualification master plan)

The purpose of the QMP is to correctly document the planning, installation and operation of the monitoring system according to the URS and the relevant SOPs. This plan regulates the responsibilities and processes concerning the qualification of the monitoring system. 

6.7          Carry out risk analysis

The purpose of this risk analysis is to quickly identify possible errors and dysfunctions and to evaluate their risk. The analysis is done in three steps: potential error (A), error cause (B) and effect (E). Each one is rated from 1-10. Finally, there results a risk priority number which is calculated as follows: A * B * E. The risk evaluation is done for the monitoring system only.

  • The FAT is assembled with all possible components. Where it is not possible (for technical reasons) to use the original devices, the corresponding signals are simulated. Secondly, the remaining sensors and all functions and evaluations are tested.

Agreement

Our prices are net prices, calculated incl. one journey in Germany, Austria or Switzerland (journey there, stay, journey back) with continuous completion of all positions stated in this offer. Additional working time, waiting time (caused by customer or third parties), travel time, travel expenses, accommodation and food are billed separately according to receipts.

This document is based on the following preconditions:

All tubes/transmission routs and drillings necessary for cable laying, hose laying and tube laying are done by the customer or the customer’s electrician on-site. All necessary building material (unless the components are mentioned in this offer) has to be provided by the customer or the customer’s electrician according to the specifications and cable lists provided by vali.sys.

All components installations (cable connection, etc.) are done by vali.sys gmbh or an electrician or mechanic on-site. Excluded are the following: fixing of machines and sensors, drillings for machines and/or workbenches, wall cutouts in already existing clean room walls, etc. These have to be done by the customer or the customer’s electrician on-site. 

Excluded from the price calculation:

  • Wall drillings for signal and interface cables
  • Providing the 230 VAC main supply for the entire system
  • Cable protection tubes and cable channels for signal cable laying as well as fire covering elements
  • Opening and closing wall and ceiling elements
  • All not explicitly mentioned tasks mentioned in this offer

 

These additional tasks are billed separately according to the current work fees.

Delivery time:

Ca. 8 weeks upon receipt of written order and receipt of signed and thus valid URS. Definite cable lists and drafts are available 4 weeks upon written order.
